Edmodo was started by a couple of guys who worked in tech roles in schools in 2008 when they noticed a huge gap in the market to provide stronger communication links between teachers and students. Since then, Edmodo has grown to offer over 400 amazing apps to well over 18m users worldwide.

In a nutshell, Edmodo provides teachers and students a secure place to connect and collaborate, share content and educational applications, and access homework, grades, class discussions and notifications. Their goal is to help educators harness the power of social media to customize the classroom for each and every learner. As Schudio develop a number of tools to make schools working lives easier this is a great system that we’re over to moon to promote.
