Built into the Schudio CMS
The Schudio AI Suite
Create. Check. Answer.
Three things built into the website you already run: it drafts content in your school's voice, it checks what you've published against what schools are expected to say, and it answers visitors' questions from your own approved pages. Every draft, flag and answer is reviewed by a person before it goes anywhere.
jobs, one login. One product inside the CMS you already use, not three separate tools to learn.
"The same people get further in the same time."
How we describe it internally, and the only honest way to describe it.
One minute
See the Suite before you read about it.
A short overview of what the AI Suite does inside the CMS, and what it deliberately leaves to you.
The actual problem
A school website is a maintenance job, not a build job
Most of the work happens after launch: the page written at half past four by someone covering for someone else, the policy updated in the summer that's still showing last year's version in March, the compliance check done in a rush before an inspection instead of steadily across the year. None of that is anyone's fault. It's just what happens when a job this constant lands on people who already have another job.
We know the compliance side of that better than most, because we audit it for a living.

AI-powered audits
Built on the same requirements work behind our audit software and our monthly compliance workshops. It reviews your whole site against what schools are expected to publish, not one page at a time, and flags anything thin, missing or quietly gone stale.
- Reviews your site against what schools must publish
- Flags anything thin or out of date
- Audits the whole site, not one page at a time
- Finds pages that have quietly gone stale
It also gets to know your school. Feedback your team gives on one audit is carried into the next, so it learns which flags were right, which were noise for your particular site, and stops repeating a correction it's already been given. There's no limit on how often you run it — check one page or the whole site as often as you like, at no extra cost.
How an audit actually gets signed off
- The audit runs across the pages you choose, checking them against what schools are expected to publish.
- It saves as a draft. Nothing is marked complete automatically, however clear a flag looks.
- Your team reviews it, agreeing with what it found, correcting anything it got wrong, and adding context it didn't have.
- It's signed off once someone at your school is happy, and that feedback feeds the next audit.

Write with Schudio
It has read your website, so what comes back sounds like your school rather than like a chatbot. One button drafts a page's intro, its content and its SEO fields. Every draft stays editable, and nothing is saved or published until someone at your school approves it.
AI-powered chatbot
Answers only from your own approved content, shows where the answer came from, and points people to the office rather than guessing on admissions or safeguarding.
Try it: ask this page a question
This runs against the real answers already on this page, the same grounded, source-linked way it works on a school site. Ask about data, ChatGPT, compliance, SEO or trusts.
Built for how your team actually works
Different schools reach for different parts of it first
All three come as standard. Which one earns its keep first tends to depend on the size and shape of the team using it.
A single school
Usually it's Write with Schudio that gets used first: an extra pair of hands on the Monday-afternoon website admin that only ever gets done at half past four. The audits and the chatbot settle in quietly behind it.
A multi-academy trust
Trusts already running careful guardrails around generative AI tend to start with the audits and the chatbot, both of which support a person's judgement rather than publishing anything themselves. Write with Schudio can be scoped in later, or left out. It's one decision for the whole trust, not something each school opts into separately.
Being straight with you
What it will not do
Every supplier in education is talking about AI at the moment, and most of it is noise. This part matters more than the feature list.
It does not publish anything
Every draft, suggestion and flag goes to a member of your team to approve or ignore. If nobody clicks, nothing happens.
It does not make you compliant
It highlights what may be missing. A person still reads it and decides. Any supplier telling you their AI guarantees compliance is telling you something they can't stand behind.
It does not replace anybody
The honest version is that the same people get further in the same time. Nobody needs fewer staff because of it.
It does not invent things
The chatbot answers from your own content, or it says it doesn't know and points the visitor to the school office.
How to get it
Two ways in, depending where you're starting from
Considering a new website
Included as standard on every new Schudio website, alongside hosting, unlimited support and unlimited training, all under one flat annual fee.
- Tell us about your school. A fifteen minute conversation about where your website is now.
- See it on a real site. The AI Suite working on a live school website, not a slide deck.
- Get a written quote. One clear annual figure, quoted with and without the AI Suite, held for three years.
Adding it to a live website
The AI Suite can be added to your existing website at any time, without waiting for your renewal date. It's a fixed add-on to your annual fee, and your existing website package and support costs don't change.
You'll find it as an option in your Schudio CMS dashboard, ready to switch on. If it's easier, just get in touch and we'll turn it on directly.
Part of a multi-academy trust? This is one decision for the whole trust rather than something each school opts into on its own, so loop in your central team, or talk to us and we'll talk it through together.
Get in touch about your accountThe questions we get
Fair enough, but…
Understood, and it's the right instinct. Nothing it writes goes near your website without one of your team reading and approving it. Think of it as a first draft from someone who has read every page of your site, rather than a publishing tool. If your team hate the draft, they delete it and write it themselves, exactly as they do now.
Plenty of schools do, and it's useful. The difference is that it has never read your website, it doesn't know your school's tone, and it has no idea what a maintained school is required to publish. It also can't tell you that your SEND page hasn't been touched in two years. Ours can, because it lives inside your site.
The AI Suite works with your published website content, which is already public. It doesn't touch pupil data, it doesn't need it, and it isn't connected to anything that holds it. The chatbot answers only from what's on your site.
No, and be wary of anyone who says theirs can. It reviews your site against what schools are expected to publish and tells you what looks missing or out of date. Someone at the school then decides whether that's right and does something about it. What it removes is the not knowing.
Write with Schudio drafts your SEO title and meta description as part of generating a page, and every site we build is structured to perform in search. A wider tool that reviews your existing pages and suggests SEO improvements is in development. We're not selling it yet, and we won't put a date on it, because we'd rather ship it properly.
Then there's a second half to this. Every school gets the assistant, and your central team gets the MAT Portal: one view of publishing activity, platform use, analytics set against your PAN and roll numbers, and compliance across every school, with recommended actions. Trusts have their own rate card, and the AI decision is taken once for the whole trust. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.
Before you decide anything
See it working on a real school website
That's the sensible order to do it in, and it takes about fifteen minutes.
Schudio has been building websites for schools and trusts since 2011.
