The short answer
It works with your website. Not your pupil data.
Every part of the AI Suite, the drafting tool, the audits and the chatbot, works with your published website content. That content is already public: it's what any visitor can already read on your site.
The chatbot answers only from your own approved content, with a link to the page it came from. It doesn't store what a visitor asks it, and when it doesn't know an answer, it says so and points them to the school office rather than guessing, particularly on admissions or safeguarding.

Where it actually runs
Not a personal ChatGPT login
A proper contract
The AI Suite runs through a Schudio-owned account with our AI provider, not a personal login, so we hold a Data Processing Agreement covering exactly how the data is handled.
Europe, and zero retention
Processing is set to a European data region, and configured for Zero Data Retention: what's sent isn't kept by the provider or used to train anything, beyond generating the answer in front of you.
Rate limits, always on
Reasonable limits sit behind every school's use of it, so nothing runs away with cost or load. None of this is unusual to have in place. We just don't think it should need asking about twice.

A person always has the last word
Nothing the AI Suite produces publishes itself. A draft page, an audit flag or a chatbot answer all stay exactly that until someone at your school reads it and decides.
