Compliance

AI and compliance

Built on 247 real audits.

The compliance side of the Schudio AI Suite, explained properly: what it checks, what it flags, and why nothing gets marked done until a person at your school says so.

49.8%

of the schools we audited had gaps in their governance information alone.

"Any supplier telling you their AI guarantees compliance is telling you something they can't stand behind."

Why we won't say it either.

Not a bolt-on feature

Built on the same work as our audits and workshops

This isn't a feature written to sell AI. It's built on the same requirements work behind Schudio's compliance audits and our monthly compliance workshops, the same work that found only 6.5% of the school websites we audited last year were fully compliant.

It reviews your whole site against what schools are expected to publish, not one page in isolation, and flags anything thin, missing or quietly gone out of date. A SEND information report untouched in two years. A safeguarding policy link that 404s. A governance page still listing a term of office that ended last summer.

How it actually works

How an audit gets signed off

It also gets to know your school. Feedback your team gives on one audit is carried into the next, so it stops repeating a correction it's already been given. There's no limit on how often you run it — check one page or the whole site as often as you like, at no extra cost.

Draft, review, sign off

  1. The audit runs across the pages you choose, checking them against what schools are expected to publish.
  2. It saves as a draft. Nothing is marked complete automatically, however clear a flag looks.
  3. Your team reviews it, agreeing with what it found, correcting anything it got wrong, and adding context it didn't have.
  4. It's signed off once someone at your school is happy, and that feedback feeds the next audit.

Being straight with you

What it will not do

Any supplier telling you their AI guarantees compliance is telling you something they can't stand behind.

It does not make you compliant

It highlights what may be missing. A person still reads it and decides. What it removes is the not knowing, not the person doing the knowing.

It does not replace anybody

The honest version is that the same people get further in the same time. Nobody needs fewer staff because of it.

It does not publish anything

Every flag goes to a member of your team to approve or ignore. If nobody clicks, nothing happens.

It does not stop with a page

It reviews your site against what schools must publish, then keeps checking, rather than a one-off scan before an inspection.

If you'd rather see the fuller picture of what schools are expected to publish, our School Website Requirements Guide is free, and our compliance workshops run monthly.

Before you decide anything

See it working on a real school website

That's the sensible order to do it in, and it takes about fifteen minutes.

Schudio has been building websites for schools and trusts since 2011.
