Apps We Love – Tripomatic

Tripomatic
The summer holidays are not far away! If you’re planning a holiday or trip anywhere I recommend giving Tripomatic a go! Tripomatic is a travel planning app, it runs on the website and theres also a mobile app version available. But just using the mobile app version has always been sufficient for my needs.
What does Tripomatic do?
Enter your destination into Tripomatic and it will show you all the sights you might like to see, pick the places that interest you and it works out the best route for your trip.
For example if you’re planning a trip to London, and want to visit some of the Museums, spend a bit of time at the Houses of Parliament and look at Big Ben (Elizabeth Tower), go to Leicester square, take a ride along the Emirates Air Line cable cars, enjoy the sights of Covent Garden, swing by Harrods department store for some shopping, with a quick stop off at Buckingham palace to see the Queen and end up back at your hotel. Just add all of the different locations into your Tripomatic itinerary and it will plan the best route for you.
Tripomatic has more than 100,000 attractions covering 150+ countries, and if the attraction you want to visit isn’t listed – you can add a custom place.
A single account can be used to tie all your devices together, an itineray planned on a laptop or desktop computer using the website can then be synced over to the mobile app and used while out and on the go.

That sounds great – How much is it?
It’s free! You can have the full featured experience of Tripomatic for free, there are in app purchases for offline maps, which can be bought individually or you can purchase the premium version for £10.99 which includes access to all offline maps.
Tripomatic is available via the web here
It’s available in app form for iOS, Android, Amazon, and Blackberry.
