My Primary School Website & OFSTED
My Primary School Website & OFSTED

We had a little chat with Helen Mackie at Roose Primary School about how they make sure there website is OFSTED ready and how we can help schools.
1/ What impact does OFSTED have on your website and what things do you need to bearĀ in mind?
The website is for OFSTED (and lots of other people) an introduction to our school. Our website needs to be friendly, welcoming and easy to navigate ā just like our school.
2/ How easy is it for you to keep on top of making sure your website is OFSTEDĀ compliant?
With help from Schudio (the dashboard and training) I know what needs to be on there. I think the initial set up (making sure the info is in place) is the time consuming bit. Once we are on top of this it should be easy to keep up to date!
3/ Do you have any process in place for keeping on top of this?
Not yet.
4/ What are your thoughts on a button specifically for Inspectors to get access toĀ the content they need to see as opposed to them finding the content on your siteĀ within the structure?
Everything Inspectors need is (or will be) available on our website and I hope the website is easy to navigate. If we put everything in one place specifically for Inspectors they may miss out on getting a feel for our school by exploring the website.
5/ How helpful did you find the OFSTED Ready WebsiteĀ Workshop? Would you see any need toĀ repeat that session in the future?
Really helpful (although I have quite a lot of work to do!) It would definitely be helpful to repeat the session if anything changes or if Schudio come up with any new advice.
