In June this year, we will be starting a long term project to support a mission to Rukungiri in Uganda. Mission Direct is building and supporting the only special needs based school outside of the capital city and we hope to be a significant part of this important project.

I will be travelling to Rukugiri to take part in the building project, to spend some time with some of the children there and maybe learn a little African sign language. I would love for schools to be involved in supporting us and Mission Direct and so would be really keen to hear from any schools who are looking for a worthwhile charity to support of the coming weeks, months and even years.

I will be in contact as much as is possible over there, but will also be available to come and visit your school to talk about the ongoing work if you are interested in getting involved.

This is a truly fantastic project and with your help we will be able to make a real contribution.
