Have you tried… The Image Editor

Image Editor

The image editor was added to the Schudio school website content management system just before Summer 2015 and is a fantastic resource. Before adding the image editor making edits or changes to images on the website required additional software or visiting another website to make the changes, we've removed that additional complication by bringing the image editor into the system to work on the files that are already uploaded to the website. What's more the image editor built into the system is provided by Adobe, the company behind Photoshop, so you know it's a quality image editor.

Features

The image editor has loads of tools that are useful for working on your images, some a bit silly like the stickers (you can add hats, moustaches, and other silly stickers to people in the images), and some that are much more useful basic features like rotate, crop and re-size.

There are also tools to try and improve the look of your image. Try using the lighting tool to adjust the brightness and contrast of your image, sometimes pictures (especially those taken indoors) can look too dark, and improving the lighting on the photo can make a previously unusable photo into a perfectly good one. Play around with the brightness settings sliders on a dark image and see if it can be improved.

There are a number of other tools to make use of in certain situations, a red eye removal tool, tools to add text to the image, and the enhance tools which will try and automatically adjust your image to a specific preset.

Some other 'arty' tools to try out in the photo editor; Focus - this tool will let you blur the photo around a selected section, focussing the view on a specific point. Effects - This tool can be used to apply different styles and effects to an image, a bit like (Instagram filters).

It's also worth noting that the image editor is a non-destructive editor, so any changes made to an image are saved as a separate file, and the original remains untouched, so there's no chance of accidentally ruining your photos.
