Schudio Training Sessions

WHERE

At Schudio we run a variety of different training sessions at our training venue in Lancashire. We run our sessions at the fantastic 4* Barton Grange Hotel.

FORMAT

We usually run one training day a month, and this training day includes 2 sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We provide lunch at the venue for each delegate whether you're staying for one session or for both.

MORNING SESSIONS

The morning sessions cover using the Schudio School Website CMS, the system used to edit and manage your school website. It's a valuable session regardless of your experience with using the CMS, whether you've never used it before, or if you're a veteran and have used the system for years. By the end of the training session you'll have learnt how to administer your website. The Schudio School Website CMS is regularly updated with new features and as new features become available they make their way into the training session so you stay up to date.

AFTERNOON SESSIONS

The afternoon training sessions are different each month. There are currently 4 sessions, including a brand new session 'Advancing Your Website'.

Social Media for Schools

An introduction to schools looking to get started on social media or improve what they currently do. Focused on using twitter.

OFSTED Ready Websites

Reviews the OFSTED requirements that your school website must meet, the session has been updated to reflect the recent changes for this academic year.

Best Practice & Digital Content

Covers best practice for some of the most commonly used areas of your website, also looks at image manipulation and how to make the best of the images on your website.

Advancing Your Website

A new session for this academic year looking in detail at improving your site with some advanced techniques. Improve the embeddable content on your website, review the performance and learn some bootstrap code to display content attractively and responsively.
